Al-Azhar Chief Equates Int’l Community’s Silence on Israeli Aggression on Iran to Complicity

IQNA – The grand imam of Egypt’s Al-Azhar Islamic Center strongly condemned the continuation of Israeli attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In remarks on Friday, Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb also slammed the silence of the international community on this blatant aggression, Al Jazeera reported. 

He further censured the Zionist regime’s attempts to push the region to the brink of an all-out war, saying the only winners of such a war are the traders in human lives and weapons.

The silence of the international community in the face of this rebellion is tantamount to complicity in this crime, and its fruit will be a threat to the security of the entire world, he went on to say.
